Dr. Samra provides comprehensive treatment choices to patients with an emphasis on healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.
Elimination diets have been trialed by researchers on vast numbers of patients suffering different chronic illnesses, such as arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, eczema, colitis, migraine, psoriasis, dermatitis, and even more. Elimination diets are simple, low allergy diets with usually just 20 low allergy foods. Improvement rates in medically controlled trials vary from between 40 to 100%. In one trial in 1984 100% of 23 rheumatoid arthritis patients improved on an elimination diet.
What this really means is that food is a major factor in chronic illness and is involved in somewhere between 40 to 100% of cases.
With many years of research and experience, Dr. Samra is an expert on unmasking food allergies and sensitivities for his patient recovery.
His book, the Allergy Connection has helped thousands of sufferers maneuver successful outcomes for their own health.
1/ Have an open mind and be prepared to change both diet and behaviour
2/ Cow’s milk dairy and Gluten are most common allergens. A trial using alternative foods available may help respiratory, dermatological, digestive, and intestinal, and even migraines and neurological conditions.
3/ We live in fortunate times. Many healthy and alternative foods are available. for just about any required food change. Don’t be afraid to try food alternatives.
4/ Getting diet, supplements, lifestyle, and behaviour right results in many other benefits, including weight loss, more energy, and clarity of thinking. Often lesser health issues disappear when the main health issue is successfully addressed.
Insulin Resistance is manifest in conditions with higher-than-normal levels of insulin.
It is present in Type 2 Diabetes, Reactive Hypoglycemia, Prediabetes, PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome)and Syndrome X. These are different conditions. These conditions are either diabetic or likely to result in diabetes as the patient ages. This progression to diabetes can be prevented and even reversed with the right change of diet.
Insulin is a hormone that helps glucose leave the circulation and enter body cells. Glucose is the main fuel for the body and the brain. When insulin is high, this is insulin resistance, and it takes more and more insulin to move glucose into the body’s cells.
The Hypoglycemic Connection II
by George Samra
Hypoglycemia is low blood sugar (or glucose). The part of the body affected most by Hypoglycemia is the brain. Hypoglycemia can therefore effect both mood and energy.
Hypoglycemics are tired people. They are moody and they get down and depressed at time without any cause. They have trouble concentration and may feel that their memory is slipping. Most admit to having a sweet tooth.
This is a book about a very real illness, Hypoglycemic disease. This is a disease most medical textbooks have forgotten. It is presented in a way that makes it easily understood. This book outlines the step by step processes by which good health may be restored.
The Allergy Connection
by George Samra
A paradigm is a shift in one’s thinking. The Food and Disease Paradigm is a new way of thinking about chronic illness whereby there is a pattern of foods that relates to disease symptoms. A computer program was developed called CWASQ and was able to be used to define the common offending foods with each condition. For every food avoidance, this book discusses useful alternative foods. Case histories are reviewed and discussed with each condition.
The Allergy Connection may be used to help your condition and possibly even cure it. One can use this book to help friends and family
